This is a very early stumpy Paddington Bear from Shirley Clarksons Gabrielle Designs. He is approximately 17 to 18 inches tall and has the round paw pads without a toe, as a stumpy should be, which are in fabulous condition.His eyes show slight age related starring in some lights. He has his small silk label in his back seam. His fur is good apart from being a bit sparse on one head seam. He didn't have any original clothes so coat,hat and boots are new replacements. His luggage label is also a replacement but without the thank you as it should be for the stumpy bears. He comes with a tin suitcase which contains a badge, an activity booklet, a photo of Paddington with Michael Bond and a lovely little Paddington Bear book entitled Paddington at the .Station.
