Here is Charlie - a gorgeous old Chad Valley bear. He is approx 19” tall (not including his ears). He is made from long pile golden mohair (worn, sparse and bald in places). He has rexine pads which have mainly worn away to show the linen backing. The foot pads have some holes in them. The square Chad Valley label is missing but you can see where it was stitched on. One arm pad has been nearly repaired around edge. He has plastic amber eyes with metal loop backs (original I think). He has embroidered black nose (original I think). He has 2 marks on his tummy. He has long thin Chad Vslkey label in side seam. Please see all photos showing condition from all angles. A really charming chap!
