In 1994, whilst working on a series of rough sketches for use on children's pyjamas, Peter Underhill the creator of the Bad Taste Bears tired of sketching cute and wanting to be naughty, alongside the fluffy kittens and cuddly puppies, he drew a small sketch of an angry teddy bear waving a bloodied chainsaw.
