A very rare, miniature Steiff begging woollen pom-pom mouse, only made from 1932-42. In good original condition with a swivel head, he stands 7cm (2.75") high, on orange felt 'slippers'. His long curled tail is made of black grained leather, while his body is orange and natural wool colour - referred to by Steiff as 'brown/yellow'.
